It is the primary responsibility of the Baggage Handler to move and store bags and luggage, provide excellent customer service and create a safe and friendly environment for the guests. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.
+ Assist guest with luggage storage upon arrival and departure, storing them in the proper storage shelves based on luggage tag numbers, and securing them safely until they are requested.
+ Bring in group bags from groups arriving to property, and marking guest room numbers on appropriate tags.
+ Deliver luggage to buses upon guest departure.
+ Maintain a clean work area for guests and staff.
+ Provide excellent customer service consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes.
+ Perform all other job related duties as requested.
+ Must be 18 years of age.
+ At least 6 months of Front Services experience.
+ Excellent customer skills.
+ Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
+ Professional appearance and demeanor.
+ Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both in written and oral form.
+ Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
